An expansive network of
partners, practices and people

Be confident in our capacity. Through our global network of partners, practices and people Equal Assurance can provide a service with true local understanding around the world.

Our members

The network of partners, practices and people who work for, with and represent Equal Assurance consists of a range of technical, management and business support activities and personnel. Our current world-wide network of partners, practices and people is shown on the map below.

It should be noted that, in accordance with ISO 17021, Equal Assurance partners do not outsource audits to management system consultancy organizations, as this poses an unacceptable threat to our impartiality. Equal Assurance partners engage people from a variety of practices as individually contracted auditor prescribed in ISO 17021.

In addition, in accordance with ISO 17021, reference to our partners and practices does not suggest that certification is linked with those practices that also provide management system consultancy. When brought to our attention, we takes appropriate action to correct inappropriate claims by any consultancy organisations stating or implying that certification would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if we provided the certification. Furthermore, no statement or implication is made by Equal Assurance that certification would be simpler, easier, faster or less expensive if a specified consultancy organisation were used.

Our Partners are also required to establish and maintain an Assurance Committee to safeguard impartiality for their certification activities. The Assurance Committee is in place to:

  • assist Equal Assurance in developing the policies and practices relating to impartiality of its certification activities;
  • counteract any tendency to allow commercial or other considerations to prevent the consistent objective provision of certification activities;
  • advise on matters affecting confidence in certification provided by Equal Assurance, including openness and public perception; and
  • conduct a review, as least once annually, of the impartiality of the audit, certification and decision-making processes.

Further details are provided in our Assurance Charter, Finally, as available at the publications facility of this website.
